And I’m not in the category you guys talked about on the podcast, either! I’m so bummed that Party Down got cancelled. I was looking forward to seeing Michael Hitchcock in that again.

I’ve always been a fan of Michael Hitchcock and it was awesome to hear him talk a bit about the process of making the Christopher Guest movies (and hear him mention that they’re possibly thinking of making another one!).

I had the displeasure of seeing House Arrest in the theater when I was younger, so it’s also nice after all of these years to finally have a name I can contact to ask for my money back.

On the subject of rarely seen movies, there was a film called “Pass The Ammo” with Bill Paxton, Tim Curry, John Goodman & Linday Koslowski that showed up on HBO in the early 90s about a couple trying to steal money back from a crooked televangelist & they wind up holding the studio hostage on TV. It was funny & cool & unfortunately overlooked.

I was really interested in the Short Form vs Long Form improv discussion. I do short form improv, but the club also has long form (and some of our teams are going to the Del Close marathon.) I do only short form because, while I like long form, I love the Comedy Sports style. My experience has been that some people who do long form look down on short form & not vice versa. I think they’re both great, but it is frustrating to feel that attitude.

Keep up the great work…looking forward to more.

He is sooooo good on “The United States of Tara” this year and of course all the Christopher Guest comedies. And the scarlet fever teacher on “Glee!” You guys sounded like you had a blast together. I’m jealous!!!!!!!
