(I just discovered the name after much searching).
As for my first It would have to be The original “Amityville Horror”. The scene where the mom (margot kidder) goes to shut the window and sees those glowing red eyes gave me nightmares for weeks!

Unfortunately that was right before ‘Childs Play’ came out. I was at a sleep over and all the kids wanted to watch it, i had to go in the other room and get my friends mom to call my mom to come pick me up. I thought that doll was going to kill me and forced my parents to burn it. Thank god i hadn’t seen the end of the movie where they burn Chucky and it doesn’t kill him.

I got scared and went upstairs to put on pajamas and get ready for bed (I was in elementary school) and I couldn’t even get up the stairs because it was too dark. I fell asleep in the front room trying to cover my ears so I couldn’t hear it, in my school clothes, without a planet or a pillow. DAMN YOU M. NIGHT!

When I started watching, I had a bad feeling that some real crazy shit was gonna go down, and then I saw some bodies in an abandoned church and I was gone. I tried to play it cool and ride it out, but I couldn’t do it. And even though it took me about 2 years after that to finally watch the entire film, I’m still a little messed up and will probably never take a road trip with my brother.

I was about 9 or 10 when “IT” happened. The television adaptation of Stephen King’s novel…you guessed….IT. First off Tim Curry as a horrific killer clown! Oh wait, he morphs himself into your worst fears and terrorizes you in both your youth and adult years. For a kid who was afraid of everything (me) you can see how it would be difficult to make it through the entire run time of this horrendously terrifying film and honestly don’t think I could handle it today. The fact I’m now compelled to find a sling shot and silver earrings is proof this.

Gary Busey scared the crap out of me! Wait, I meant the werewolf. I cried and had to leave when the scene with the fog and the werewolf was creeping under it snatching people. That bothered me for months.

Rough night.

The scene with cockroaches didn’t make me run away, but I do remember hiding in my sleeping bag.

On Roseanne, the son, DJ, was changed after the first episode. Johnny Galecki played 2 different boyfriends for Darlene, something fans seem to forget. In his first appearance, he was Kevin, and every appearance after that, he was Mark’s brother, David. They also went from Becky #1, to Becky #2, back to Becky #1, and then back to Becky #2, haha! And as far as the school years go on Boy Meets World… Season 1 was 6th grade, Season 2 started in 7th grade, but there’s a mention of them in 8th grade near the end of the season, 3rd season was 9th grade, 4th was 11th, 5th was 12th, and 6 and 7 were their first two years of college. Sorry for rambling on, I’m a ’90s kid, haha!

In my teens, I didn’t really watch scary movies. In my early 20s, I saw the Dawn of the Dead remake — soooo scary. I was in the theater on a date, so I didn’t leave, but I did a lot of watching through my fingers or closing my eyes. I had nightmares for a long time.

There is a scene where a giant, black, jabberwocky come through the mirror and it is absolutely horrifying. Definitely NOT the animated Disney version!

I was so terrified… not only did I have to leave the sleepover, but I made my parents move my bedroom to the first floor of the house so that I didn’t have to worry about being pushed down the stairs at night.

It was better the second time, & now my 5 year old son loves it.
