After dinner we got super lost trying to find our hotel and, at an intersection, saw a lady on a motorcycle wearing just boots, a bra, underwear and a fishnet bodysuit. The next evening we went to the wedding, drove a block away and changed into pjs in a random parking lot, then drove through the night back to Boston, where I dumped my friends, went home to New Hampshire, showered, and went straight to work. Oof.

It’s about an 8 hour drive, and as I got older I started hating the trip, but when I was little I was pretty easy to entertain and I always loved seeing my grandma.

Love Jane and Brad (and Husbands!), such a great episode! 😀

We took the ferry across Lake Michigan, visited the locks at Sault Ste Marie, ate fudge on Mackinac Island, were in awe of Niagara Falls. We spent several days at the Expo, but my best memory is playing – jump rope, hopscotch, jacks, four-square – on the sidewalk with the French-speaking kids who lived in the apartment building where we stayed. Kids don’t have language barriers, they just have fun.

We drove from NY to FL in my best friends moms beat up station wagon. It was her mom, myself, her, her sisters friend and her sister, who at the time was a little on the larger side. We were squished for hours in between them. Then half way there we got stuck in traffic which is where I witnessed road rage for the first time. I saw a man on a sport bike come flying up the shoulder only to have the person in the outer most left lane open their door right when the bike came up on him, causing the man on the bike to go off the road and crash his bike, which at that point a fist fight took place. I vowed to never drive to FL again.

Thanks guys love you!!!

I still remember seeing the ocean for the first time, when I was 6, as we drive down the street in the town. The street just ended in water and it took my breath away.
