Brooklyn Brothers Michael Weston and Ryan O'Nan

Brooklyn Brothers (actor/musicians Ryan O’Nan and Michael Weston, stars of the indie rock n’ roll road trip comedy “Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best”) stop by to chat with Cole and Vanessa about Choccywoccydoodah, Seth MacFarlane, saggy old vampires, John Hughes films, Green Day vs. the IHeartRadio festival, Portland’s potent brews, RPatz and KStew’s reconciliation, Steve Garvey, tandem flutists, poop rivers, playing music live, moonshiners, our terrible approximation of a “roaring crowd” noise, and Ryan’s problem with ketchup and avocado.

Leave your answer to the firsts question (the first movie soundtrack you can remember being obsessed with) on our website for a chance to win a comfy cozy Pop My Culture T-Shirt!

The first soundtrack I was obsessed was The Three Musketeers because of the power ballad “All For Love” about the power of orgies. Love the podcast, keep it up guys.

AHHHH!!!!!!!! I have been obsessed with these guys since I saw The Brooklyn Brothers Beat the Best in Toronto last year. You have NO IDEA how happy it makes me to see this happening!

To answer the question – the first soundtrack I ever listened to obsessively was obviously the soundtrack to I Know What You Did Last Summer. Terrible movie, great soundtrack.

The first movie soundtrack I loved was from Austin Powers. Bought it, was crushed it didn’t have Secret Agent Man. Next soundtrack I got, from The Wedding Singer, didn’t You Spin Me Round – again, super disappointing.
Now I listen to the 28 Days Later soundtrack while I nap, and have terrifying dreams.

You don’t know me, so I’ll admit it… The first soundtrack I can remember being obsessed with was the Galaxy Quest soundtrack. I still love David Newmans’ score through out and I’ve had the theme song as my ringtone for the past 2 years and I still enjoy it.

As a kid, I listened to the Little Mermaid soundtrack on my Talk ‘n Play every night going to sleep, but I’d jump up and turn it off by track 3 (Ursula)… When I was old enough to buy music, the first soundtrack I remember loving was “That Thing You Do.” It’s still great – definitely holds up!
