It was, I am somewhat shamed to admit, the Poke-Rap (from the early Pokemon dub). Unless the FPofBA theme counts as a rap … but still my shame would remain.

My first “rap” I tried was “Pass the Dutchie” by Musical Youth. It was a slow one!

My First Rap: The Macaulay Culkin part on MJ’s “Black or White.” Can I be any whiter? I guess it don’t matter to MJ.

Not sure I’ve -ever- tried to learn a rap song, but thought I’d still say thanks for these – moved to Greece 3 weeks ago, and having some familiar nonsense is quite cheering.

Oh god, I go onto the Pop My Culture website and see its Robyn Lively?!?! I LOVED Teen Witch when I was kid! Not to mention Not Quite Human…
The first rap song I tried to memorize was actually the Top That rap in Teen Witch (Teen Witch was always in reruns in the Disney Channel and later Fox Family). Aside from that, it was The Real Slim Shady. I could never rap like Eminem though sadly. I do an amazing Nikki Minaj “Super Bass” now though so top that. -

For me, it was the very educational Babysitters club rap. A lively performance, all about the human body. Must see link to truly appreciate

First rap that I ever learned was Melle Mel’s rap in the Chaka Khan song, “I Feel For You.” I didn’t even realize that that was what rapping was at the time. http://youtu.be/1XV5_WagxZg

I have always and will always continue to do an excellent rendition of ‘The Humpty Dance’ ! Robyn Lively rules and I was crushed when Savannah was cancelled. Ironic that WB/CW changed from soaps to family programming only to go back to soap and rocket her sister Blake to stardom. What could’ve been….
