    2 Friends that broke up after their wedding invites were already sent out. Awkward/tragic.

    3 Government shutdown!

    4 The big hype around Pacific Rim – read so much about how Mako was some amazing feminist character, which I wouldn’t have even cared about if I hadn’t read so many gushing articles about how great she was, but then she spent the whole time needing encouragement, doing whatever men told her to do, and at the end, gave up on the guy and started crying about his “death” without even attempting CPR. WEAK.

    5 Life in Greece turns out to be way not as cheap as the destroyed economy might lead you to expect. Bummer.

    Have to stick with my personal worsts….lost my job in March, and in April my bf of 8 years said he wasn’t sure he loved me any more. So yeah. Still reeling.
